It's April, we will quickly see baseball teams shift into league mode, here is a look at action from around the state.

Daily Roundup:

Arapahoe 2 ThunderRidge 1
Arapahoe scored 1 in the bottom of the 2nd when pitcher Tim Mcintrye (2017) balk in the run, ThunderRidge tied the game in the top of the 6th off a Reece Lansville (2018) single, but in the bottom of the 7th ThunderRidge made a multitude of mistakes and Arapahoe scored the winning run.  Pitcher Drew Hayes (2018) threw a terrific game going 6 innings allowing just 2 hits, to go with 5 K’s. 

Legend 12 Cherry Creek 7
Legend pounded out 17 hits and scored 7 runs in the top of the 5th inning to take the lead for good in this non-conference game.  Legend was led by PJ Ausmus (2018) who went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s and Justin Boyd (2019) who was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI’s.  The Bruins were led by Cody Schultz (2017) who was 3 for 4 and scored 4 runs.

Chatfield 13 Mountain Vista 2
Chatfield led 6 to 2 going into the top of the 7th and then exploded for 7 runs to win this non-conference games.  The Chargers Kasey Koppelmaa (2018) went 2 for 3, hitting a home run, and driving in 2 runs, Alec Roach (2017) was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s and Luke LaChance (2019) was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s.  Mountain Vista’s John Krysa (2017) was 2 for 3 and had their 2 RBI’s.
