April baseball is upon us and teams are gearing up for a wild 5 weeks to make the playoffs.  Here is a look at yesterdays action.

Monday 4-4-16

Pine Creek 13 Lakewood 8
The Eagles keep rolling and were led by Wade Council who was 3-5 with 4 RBI and Jay Onken who went 3-3 with 2 runs and 3 RBI.  The Tigers saw a big day out of Trevor Wilson who was 2-4 with 2 runs and 6 RBI.

Fairview 21 Regis Jesuit 15
These two teams combined for 36 runs and 35 hits.  The Knights come out on top and were led by Tyler Carpenter who was 3-5 with 3 runs and 4 RBI and Sam McGill who went 3-5 with 1 run and 3 RBI.  The Raiders were led by Travis Marr who was 2-4 with 2 runs and 3 RBI and Jimmy Holinger who was 2-3 with 2 runs and 4 RBI. 

Chatfield 6 Araphoe 0
The Chargers stay hot and were led by Nate Semmler who was 2-4 with 1 run and 3 RBI.  On the mound, Mike Lucero went all 7, giving up 3 hits and striking out 9.

Denver East 12 Lincoln 4
The Angels get the league win and were led by Patrick Kauffman who went 1-1 with 2 RBI. 

Dakota Ridge 11 Mountain Vista 2
The Eagles get the non-league win and were led by Peyton Turner who was 1-3 with 1 run and 3 RBI and on the mound by Carter Akerfelds who went 6 innings giving up 8 hits, 2 runs and struck out 4.
