Games continue to be played both in state and out of state as many teams have hit the road for Spring Break. Here a look at game action from this weekend.
Friday 3-25
Bayfield 10 Lamar 5
The Tigers continue their winning ways and were led by No. 55 2016 Zane Phelps who was 2-3 with 1 run and 3 RBI and No. 54 2016 Kelton McCoy who was 3-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI.
Deltona 5 Columbine 4
The Rebels continue to stay close in Florida; they put together 8 hits and were led by 2016 Mitch Hulse who was 2-3.
Kellis 7 Douglas County 6
The Huskies get a break out performance from freshman Murphy Gienger who was 1-3 with 2 runs and 2 RBI.
D’Evelyn 4 Indian Wells 2
The Jaguars get the out of state win and see a great all around performance from No. 92 2016 Mitch Menard who was 1-3 at the plate and he went 6 innings on the mound giving up 2 runs and collecting 9 K’s.
