Preseason All-State Preview

The Prep Baseball Report’s Inaugural Preseason All-State will take place this Sunday March 1st at the Slammers South Facility in Englewood, Colorado. This will be the first year of the event. Preseason All-State prospects from the 2015 and 2016 classes will come together in a pro-style workout to strut their stuff in front of the PBR scouting staff.

Let’s take a look at this year’s crop of players currently registered.

PBR Colorado No. 8 2015 and No. 307 overall Marc Mumper (Mountain Vista, Grand Canyon Commit), No. 12 2015 Kyle Winkler (Chatfield, Miami-Ohio Commit), No. 31 2015 Conner Reynolds (Brighton, University of Northern Colorado Commit), and Andres Acuna (Pueblo East, Dodge City C.C. Commit), are a some of the top 2015 prospects that will be in attendance. To see a list of some 2015 players in attendance that are flying under the radar click here.

PBR Colorado No. 2 and No. 51 Overall Maverick Handley (Mullen, Stanford Commit), No. 3 2016 and No. 67 Overall Jake Eissler (ThunderRidge, Texas Christian Commit), No. 4 2016 and No. 69 Overall Paul Tillotson (Lewis Palmer, Nebraska Commit), No. 6 2016 and No. 175 Overall Preston Snavely (Fort Collins, Wichita State Commit), and No. 12 2016 and No. 271 Overall Tommy Gillman (Columbine, Texas AM Commit), are 5 of our top 15 overall 2016 players who will be in attendance, which will also include No. 7 Matt Burkart (RHP/SS, Eaton), No 9 Austin Wood (RHP, Silver Creek), No. 11 Brice Johnson (LHP, Pine Creek), and No.15 Nate Sweeney (RHP/INF, Cherry Creek).

It's going to be a packed house on Sunday, and on display will be most of the best high school baseball talent Colorado has to offer.

Preseason All-State prospects who did not receive an invite to this event can still get in front of the PBR Scouting Staff this spring, summer, and fall. Summer Schedule will be posted on 3/2/15
