The Colorado Fall Prospect Games will be held October 1st and 2nd at Highlands Ranch High School.  Participants from the classes of 2020-2017 will participate in a pro-style workout and games for the PBR Colorado Staff.  Over the next few weeks we will introduce you to several of the participants, continuing our look is C/3B, Jun Choi, Cherry Creek High School (2018).

PBR:  Describe yourself as a baseball player to those who have never seen you play:
Choi:  I am a catcher that is diligent and defensive on the field. As a hitter a can hit for power and I can hit for average as well.

PBR:  What would be your dream school to play baseball at?  If you have already committed to play at the next level, why did you choose that particular school?
Choi:  I would love to play baseball at Ivy League Schools, M.I.T., and Emory University.

PBR:  What are your best assets on and off the field at this point in your high school career?
Choi:  On the field, I am confident that I am a great defensive catcher that can block the ball. I am confident that I am a power hitter as well. Off the field, I am a great student, taking 6 AP classes this year.

PBR:  What is the best baseball advice you have received and try to follow to this point in your career?
Choi:  "Be a wall!"  This has made me a better catcher. I am absolutely confident that I can be a wall and block everything.

PBR: What does your off-season routine look like to prepare for the upcoming season?
Choi:  Weight training 3 times a week, speed and agility training once a week, and trying to increase arm velocity.

PBR:  What are your superstitions or routines that go on during a season?
Choi:  I try to practice every day, to make sure that I don't get rusty.

PBR:  What are your goals for:

This Season: To get a better pop-time and be more accurate.

Two Years: College recruiting.

Four Years: Play baseball in my desired college.
