Q&A with Brok Eddy

Q: You attended the Future Games in Georgia. When you left the event and headed back to Colorado, what was your overall impression of the event?

Eddy: I thought the Future Games was a great experience overall. It was good to see all the top uncommitted players and compete in front of many collages. It was also fun to play and compete with all the Colorado athletes and show everyone what we got.

Q: What has the recruiting process been like for you now and before the Future Games?

Eddy: After the Future Games, some coaches started to have interest in me and wanted to see how I progressed.

Q: You are committed to Arizona State University, how did you connect with them?

Eddy: After a tournament in January with the Yard Dawgs, I got in touch with them. I pitched really well and they wanted to see me throw in person so, I went down and threw in front of the coaches.

Q: What made you chose Arizona State University over other colleges that gave you offers?

Eddy: I chose Arizona State for many reasons. It is a very prestigious program and has a winning culture. Also, I really liked the coaching staff and what they are doing over there. I feel like in a few years the Sun Devils will be a top team in the country. I am really exited to be apart of that.

Q: Did you visit Arizona State University, if so what was the experience like?

Eddy: I did go on a visit to see the school and throw in front of the coaches. I went around Tempe to see what it would like to be a student and then went down to the stadium. I got a tour around the facilities and fell in love with it. I could see myself getting better there for the next four years.

Q: What are you most excited about for the ’22 high school season?

Eddy: I am most exited to be competing against all the top competition in Colorado. I get to see and play against all my teammates and try to bring Brighton as far as we can go.

Q: Lastly, out of all the PBR events you have attended in your career, what has PBR meant to you during your time playing baseball in Colorado?

Eddy: PBR has done so much for me and I can’t thank them enough. They have given me exposure and helped me progress throughout my career. They have really helped put Colorado baseball on the map and help show all of the talent in Colorado.
