13D1 Championship Winner: 3N2 Warriors

13D2 Championship Winner: Colorado Yard Dawgs White

The Colorado Yard Dawgs tallied 13 runs, on 16 hits, in the first three innings of the 13D1 semi-final game against the 3N2 Warriors; including a double and a homer for Yard Dawg starting pitcher, Sean Marlow and a solo shot from 2023 Caleb Pepper

The Yard Dawgs built a 10-run lead thru 3 innings, before the 3n2 Warriors scored 3 in the fourth, cutting the deficit to 7 as the fifth and final inning began.

The 5th began with back to back HR by 2023 LHP Julian Terrazas, Future Holly HS, and 2023 Brayden Duman, Future Rock Canyon HS cutting the YD lead to 5. Two quick outs followed leaving the 3n2 Warriors with one final chance. Three singles and a walk later, the tying run came to the plate in 2022 Isaac Wachsmann, future Regis Jesuit HS. Wachsmann hit a 2-1 fastball over the left field wall to tie the game at 13-13, the third home run of the inning. The Warriors had batted around to bring Terrazas back to the plate for his second AB of the inning, when he again homered, deep over the CF fence, for the lead and second back-to-back HR of the inning. Three pitches later, Duman, who scored four times and was the winning pitcher, hit his second solo bomb of the inning as well, capping a 9-run inning and improbable come from behind win. The momentum of the unlikely win would catapult the 3N2 Warriors to a 9-1 victory over the Colorado Shamrocks in the championship game.
