New England Top Five Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles for Connecticut - #1 Holden White

#1 Holden White, LHP, Kingswood Oxford, 2016 (Wake Forest commit)
Background: 6-foot-3,180 pound LHP. An athletic body with tons of room to put weight on. Throws from a natural ¾ slot. The arm path is clean, free and easy. Fastball sits 87-90 mph and has touched 91 at times, with late arm-side run when he stays on time with his delivery. At times steps across his body, which in return may make it difficult to locate to glove side. Curve ball is 67-69, rotation depends to loose, depth on it needs to later. White has the arm speed and correct slot to turn the curve ball into a tight late breaking slider, will be an absolute nightmare for left-handed hitters. Changeup is a plus pitch with proper spin to it, with the same arm speed as fastball, change was 78-80 mph.

Ranking: Holden is ranked 1st in New England's 2016 class and 36th overall.
