The PBRT 14/15U Florida Summer Championships continued Friday, June 24th at IMG Academy with action from the 14U and 15U divisions. The event is four days long with champions decided on Sunday. Each day we will highlight standouts with a daily scout blog. Take a look at Day 2's notes.

Connor Bly RHP / 3B / Undecided, FL / 2026 Fluid and compact swing. Composed at the plate. Athletic and lean physical frame. Shows power potential. Strong follow.

Ethan Candelario OF / Calvary Christian, FL / 2026 Lean, athletic frame. Simple up the middle approach. Quick hands and hard contact. Multiple hits so far this weekend. Works a level bat path.

Wyatt Clarke RHP / 3B / Buchholz, FL / 2025 Quiet and compact 2 strike approach. Continued to succeed with runners in scoring position. Stays on time and finds barrels.

Jacoby Cox SS / RHP / Lakewood Ranch, FL / 2025 Large, physical frame. Strong, quiet presence in the box. Quick hands and an adjustable barrel. Had a deep fly to left-center for a double.

Joaquin Gardner 3B / Buchholz, FL / 2025 Gardner showed some two-way potential. Simple fluid stroke. Barrel stays in the zone. Lots of barrels so far this weekend.

Dante Hernandez 2B / West Broward, FL / 2025 Athletic and lean frame. Simple approach at the plate. Drove in runs throughout the day.

William Johnson RHP / Citrus, FL / 2025 Lean athletic frame. Works downhill and gets good extension. Fastball up to 83 with late life. Flashed a tight breaking ball. Struggled a bit with command but stuff is there.

Caleb Kietzman RHP / 1B / Santa Fe, FL / 2025 Another solid 2025 arm for Gatorball. Up-tempo delivery with a quick arm. Fastball up to 81. Tight spinning breaking ball.

Rhys Klein LHP / OF / Braden River, FL / 2025 Lean lanky frame. Shows ability to pitch inside and out with all 3 pitches. Arm action is clean with repeatable delivery. Fastball has Arm-side run. Slurvey breaking ball and CH with some cutting action.

Auston Meissner SS / 2B / St. Petersburg, FL / 2025 Meissner recorded an inside the park home run on Friday. Hit a ball in the gap and was able to make it around the bases safely.

Ever Silvente C / Challenger, FL / 2026 Strong baseball instincts and awareness for class. Solid arm action and feet behind the plate. On target throws with an above average arm for class. Reliable blocker.

Drew Weinberg RF / RHP / JW Mitchell, FL / 2026 Tall setup with a calm presence in the box. Efficient actions and a simple approach. Had hard contact during the day. Pitched 4 innings as well striking out 4 with just 1 run allowed.

Tyler Whitworth C / 3B / Santa Fe , FL / 2025 Large, strong physical frame. Fluid and compact action, level path. Massive pull-side power. Doubled off the wall.
