Hoffman has been very impressive this spring both at short and on the mound. The USF commit projects to be a very solid two-way player in college, but professional baseball may be more interested in him on the mound. Hoffman has come in as a closer for Calvary Christian this year, featuring a big jump in velocity, sitting 92-93 mph with late life.
