Future Games Spotlight: OF AJ Nessler

The 2019 PBR Future Games took place July 31-August 3 at LakePoint in Cartersville, GA. The event was filled with the top uncommitted 2021 and 2022 players in the country. The players participated in a pro-style workout and three games in front of all the PBR staff and over 300 college coaches. This week we continue spotlighting each of the 25 players from Team Florida at the Future Games. Next up is 2022 OF AJ Nessler (Jesuit).

Scouting Report
The Jesuit prepper has a medium frame with room to add strength. Bat speed has a chance to be elite with loose, whippy hands. Present bat to ball skills and bat control indicates a solid hit tool that complements his hand quickness. Lift in the swing is there and big power looks like it’s coming the way the ball jumps off his bat into the gaps. Above average actions and arm in the outfield, keeping throws low and accurate at 83 mph. Arm is straight over the top and pulls down well. 7.25 60-yard dash, 85 mph exit velocity.
