CLICK HERE to take a look at this week’s National Buzz. With that in mind, let’s take an in depth look at the Illinois prospects who have committed to colleges, with detailed scouting information.

Richard Sorrenti, C, Chiles, 2016
Pensacola State

Richard SorrentiSorrenti is a 5-foot-10 160 pound 3B that has a lanky, athletic body. He has long, high 3/4 arm action with carry. Sorrenti has soft hands, quick fluid footwork, and a quick clean exchange.

Matt Logullo, RHP, Winter Haven, 2016
Florida International

6/6/15 - Uncommitted incoming senior. 6-foot-2 200 pounds with a large, durable, and strong frame with strong legs. Sinks into his back leg when he goes to drive off. Good momentum and lower half. Over the top arm action that is somewhat compact. A little stiff and shows a little effort but his arm still works well. FB sat 81-84 mph, CB was 70-71 mph with a 12/6 break, and had a good 72-75 mph CHG. Keeps the same arm speed on the CHG. Confident on the mound.

Drew Ehrhard, SS, Wharton, 2017
University of Tampa

4/2/15 - 5-foot-10 165 pounds with an athletic and lean body with some strength. Good actions in the field and really bounces around. Soft hands and quick/light feet with a playable arm. At the plate he has a nice separation and a good hand load. Short/quick swing and stays inside the ball well. Looked like above average speed and plays the game hard.

Cash Case, SS, The First Academy, 2017
Notre Dame

6/14/15- 6-foot-1 187 pounds with an athletic, physical, and strong body. Short, over the top arm action with an above average arm across the diamond and good hands. Not much lower half at the plate but has a nice swing plane and gap power.

JT Duncan, OF, Bay, 2016
Gulf Coast State
