Report- 10/16/16- Miami recruit. Stands at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds with a solid, strong build with a developed lower half. Has leaned out recently and looked more comfortable at the plate with an advanced approach, easy swing, and plus bat speed from the left side with present power. Consistently finds the barrel and put multiple balls over the fence during batting practice. Took a ball the other way deep into the left/center field gap for a standup RBI double. He showed this weekend why many believe he is the best available power bat in the class. The is undoubtedly very easy power and has a feel for hitting. If he can continue these performances as well as stay as lean and in shape as he looked this weekend, expect him to be an early round pick on day one of the draft.
