We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Georgia. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK

The Chiefs had an impressive run last season going 32-9 with a state runner up finish. They lose Player of Year, Trey King, but return some key pieces, and also have some new additions to the '24 season that were hurt in '23. Auburn commit, Chase Fralick will lead the team along side Kennesaw State commit, Connor Soper. Fralick will be a ton arm on the mound, as well as control things behind the plate, and be the big bat in the line up. Braden Roop will be back from injury in '24, and will be a key contribtor on the mound. Senior, John Peters is another player they will get back in '24, and will also earn tons of innings on the mound. Mason Olivarez and Ford Lambert will round out the seniors in the line up, both were key contributors last year. Joaquin Maldonado is a new face for the Chiefs this season, and will be interesting to see how he helps this already powerful Chiefs line up. They will open their season on February 16th vs Alexander.
