The 2024 Georgia high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Georgia.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in mid-May inside one of Coolray Field, AdventHealth Stadium, or JI Clements Stadium at Georgia Southern University. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Georgia. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK

+ The Trojans return a talented group of seniors with an exciting group of underclassmen. Coach Jones will look to improve on their 18-14 record in '23, and he has an experienced group with some freshman that earned valuable time last season. He has 4 committed seniors that he will turn to for leadership for his fresman class. Ben Fussell has been an excited follow this summer as he has made some big strides since last season. Him and Cannon Jones are a dynamic duo up the middle of the field with Zaelyn Smith in center-field who is one of the top outfielders in the state. This was an exciting team to watch at the Georgia Dugout Club tournament last season, and did not lose many impact guys, so Coach Jones and staff should be excited to get things started in 2024.
