The 2024 Georgia high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Georgia.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in mid-May inside one of Coolray Field, AdventHealth Stadium, or JI Clements Stadium at Georgia Southern University. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Georgia. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK

+ After a strong 2023 campaign with a final record of 27-8 and an Elite 8 appearance, the Yellow Jackets look to build off of the 2023 season for their quest of a State Championship. Coach Glass and his staff look to lean on their large Senior class and these two big arms at the top of their rotation, Alex Mason ( Georgia Southern Commit), and Duke Stone (Mississippi State Commit). The Yellow Jackets look at Juniors, LHP Andrew White to add key innings to add some depth to the backend of the rotation, along with SS Eli Saunders, and C Dylan Carelock to be strong up the middle and produce in the lineup. Coach Glass also looks at young Sophmore, Treyton Webster to play a role in the Yellow Jackets success in 2024.
