EMERSON, GA - The 2026 Georgia Senior Games  were held September 5th at LakePoint Sports Complex, bringing together over 175 of the top uncommitted prospects in the 2027 class from across the state. Over 20 + college coaches were in attendance to see these players as the Fall circuit kicks off with the spring season on the horizon. 

Today, we take a closer look at some of the top performers from the outfield group. ⤵️

Quick Hits: Outfielders

Austin Wilson, OF, 2027, Villa Rica
Uncommitted. Wilson had a strong showing at the Senior Games throwing up solid numbers in the workout and impressed in the games. He maxed out at 92 EV during BP with an average of 84 EV taking the ball foul pole to foul pole. Wilson has an adv. approach at the plate thinking UTM in a well-balanced stride, firing a short barrel and showing adjustability. He topped out at 80 in the OF and it will keep rising as he continues to develop into the 5-foot-9, 154-pound frame. During the games, he showed patience in the box taking his BB after grinding out a quality AB in the leadoff spot. He also stayed back on an inside FB and roped a hustle 2B to LF on a short stroke. Wilson has become a threat in the box because he has an innate ability to catch a barrel anywhere ITZ while working counts. He is going to have a big fall and will continue to develop throughout the spring as well. 

Matthew Isaacson, OF, 2027, Norcross
Uncommitted. Isaacson started the fall circuit off with a brilliant showing in workouts and gameplay. In his BP round, he found wood staying UTM reaching a max EV of 93 and staying consistent with an avg. EV of 86. Isaacson stays quiet in the approach with feel for the barrel finding length ITZ and has good extension out front with good wrist strength. Reaching a velo of 86, Isaacson shows premier arm strength in the OF with athleticism from a 7.14 60. In gameplay, he displayed a mature-minded approach and controlled aggression when he gets the pitch he wants. He showed off the oppo approach, ripping a hard 1B UTM in an intense environment. The 6-foot, 182-pound OF is looking to produce big numbers at Norcross in the spring.

Carson Klinger, OF/1B, 2027, Greater Atlanta Christian
Uncommitted. Coming off a big summer, Klinger started off the fall where he left off with a big day at the Senior Games. He put up one of the louder BP’s of the day showing the power in a lofty PS carry round. With big numbers put in the past, he didn’t disappoint with a max EV of 95 and a max distance of 355ft. Klinger has a dynamic swing and the ball jumps off the bat with power in the lower half. With a speedy 6.89 60, he has explosiveness in the OF and his speed helps him to get good jumps on balls that are out of range for most. He has reached a velo of 80 in the OF with room for more in the 5-foot-9, 168-pound frame. He showed quick hands in gameplay getting the barrel to the inner half FB and scorched it off the LCF wall for an RBI 2B. Klinger is an exciting player bringing an adv. toolset to every part of his game with projection left. He is going to go out with a bang at Greater Atlanta Christian and teams will be all over this talented OF’er.

Caden Morris, OF, 2027, Chattahoochee
The showing that Morris put together on Saturday was nothing short of loud with eye-popping numbers across the board for the uncommitted outfielder. Athletic, high-waisted 6-foot-1,192-pound frame with present strength showing throughout and room for even more physical development. Set the tone for the day with a 6.57 in the 60, flashing an impressive ability to maintain top speed and came through with the 2nd best run of the day overall. BP only strengthened the day as Morris would flash effortless bat speed (Max 80.4) in a well-leveraged, uphill path from the the right side that would allow balls to jump off the barrel with minimal effort. Generated more top five numbers in average (93.2; 4th) and max (102.4; 2nd) exit velocities in the round and flashes a path to a strong hit/power combo down the road. Morris would close out the day with excellent actions in the outfield, showing advanced route and obvious foot speed backed by some of the best arm talent of the day as the outfielder would put down the top number at 89. In a crucial time for recruiting, Morris opened the fall flashing a toolshed profile that could have D1 potential and should have schools flocking to see ABs throughout the spring. 

James Cressend, OF, 2027, Augusta Christian
Cressend showed big strides over the summer at Athens ID and looked even better with a loud performance this past weekend. Big-time strength throughout the frame at 6-foot-0, 195-pounds and shows ability to tap into every bit of it on the field. Utilizing a quick toe-tap trigger from the right side, Cressend maintains balance extremely well throughout his stride backed by above-average bat speed (Max 77.2) and barrel accuracy to catch balls out front at a rapid rate. Average EV (92.0) and Max (100.9) finished top-10 for the event while sending multiple balls out to the pull-side throughout the round. Good actions shown in the outfield with range and arm strength that point to a long-term home in the corner where Cressend can find the power-hitting COF archetype. Floor is only getting higher for the outfielder and looks poised for a big senior campaign. 

Ian Chisolm II, OF, 2027, Sandy Creek
Pretty intriguing two-way profile that Chisolm presented backed by strong production throughout the day. Wiry, athletic 5-foot-9, 140-pound frame has plenty of room to fill out with twitch to maintain athleticism long-term. Quality bat-to-ball skills shown throughout the day as Chisolm maintains an extremely flat barrel through the zone with ability to match planes well and all-fields approach. The outfielder would come through with a three-hit showing in gameplay, flashing a willingness to do a job while showing ability to spoil good pitching and work counts throughout. Very tough to get beat in-zone and very minimal chase shown. Chisolm would show well in his quick inning of work on the mound, showing ability to land the low-80s sinker throughout the zone with some arm-side run paired with a pair of breaking balls in a tight slider at 74-75 and curveball at 68-71 that avoided hard contact. Profile has a higher-floor and will be in-line to earn a big role for the Creek boys next spring. 

Jack Hampson, OF, 2027, Terrell Academy
A bit of a sleeper breakout performance from Hampson who looks to have taken a leap since our last look in June. Compact 5-foot-8, 166-pound frame has added real strength including over 9lb of good weight in the last two months while remaining athletic. Small strides made in both average (89.7) and max (94.9) exit velocities as the barrel feel has grown in a hurry and flashes ability to drive balls in a gap-to-gap approach. Minimal wasted effort with an ability to stay on-plane allow for Hampson to find the barrel in-zone often. Strides continued in the grass where Hampson shows potential to stick in CF with ever-growing arm strength (88; 2nd in-event) and instincts that allow his 6.95 speed to play a grade faster in-game. Overall it’s a top-of-the-order type profile with value at a defensive premium that can help guide Hampson into a big senior season with some added momentum. 

Sean Martell, OF, 2027, Walnut Grove
One of the premier athletes that remains uncommitted, Martell boasts tons of upside and projection that should garner interest across a plethora of levels. Broad-shouldered, athletic 6-foot-4, 205-pounds with real tools throughout and well-connected RH cut. Plus-runner and explosive start to the day by clocking in at the event best 60-yd at a 6.44. Shows a simple setup in the box with impressive hands in-zone from a compact path and easy bat speed while spraying the ball to all-fields in batting practice. Quick trigger with strong hands and wrists and delivers a heavy barrel through the zone. Capped off the round with a max 95.5 and an average 89.0 exit velocities pairing it with a max distance of 367ft. Martell carried it over into gameplay as he came through with a sharp RBI base knock to the pull-side. Defensively it’s likely a long-term CF home for Martell with present arm strength (86 MPH) and strong instincts that allow the plus foot speed to make tough plays across the grass. Toolshed profile that isn’t done growing to say the least and with a knack of continued production the upside for Martell is sky’s the limit with a potential D1 commitment looming. 

Miles Norman, OF/RHP, 2027, Parkview
Norman has been a steady performer both for the Panthers and during the summer circuit over the years. Boats quality two-way tools in the profile with athleticism throughout the lean 6-foot-0, 152-pound frame. Ran a 6.71 60-yd backed by an explosive first-step that allows him to reach top end speed (Max 20.5) quickly. Switch-hitter and mirror-image in the box with repeatability from both sides. Toe-tap trigger with loose hands and whip in the barrel. Bat-to-ball skills are present with zone recognition and feel to use the entire field well. Norman finished BP with a max 91.8 exit velocity and would also come through with a backside single from the left-side in-game as well. Versatile athlete with positional flexibility and present arm strength that will carry the profile long-term while allowing him to move across the grass. On the mound, Norman induced quick outs early and often in a clean inning of work. Athletic mover down the mound with a clean, repeatable arm stroke and attacked the zone while keeping batters off-balance with the fastball/slider mix. Fastball sat 81-84 with ability to land on the outer half to righties. Advanced feel for a sharp slider with ability to manipulate shapes while adding or subtracting sweep for both whiffs and freezes. It’s an intriguing overall profile with gamer intangibles and is the type of hard-nosed player that will thrive at the collegiate level. 

 

Caleb Barber, OF/3B, 2027, Grayson
We had yet to see Barber in this type of setting and he showed out throughout the event. Physical, broad-shouldered 6-foot-1, 210-pounds with loud tools throughout. Ran a 6.74 60-yd for one of the better times of the day with ability to reach his top end speed quickly (Max 20.7). Consistent barrels in batting practice where he came through with a max 97.2 exit velocity and a max 365ft. distance. Simple setup with strong hands through the zone and advanced bat speed (Max 83.2) in an extremely compact path to contact. Ball jumps at contact while creating carry to both gaps. Barber would find the barrel in-game including a rocket line-out to left-field as well. Versatile athlete that can make an impact in a multitude of ways and could prove to be a piece to push a recruiting class over the hump. 

Cameron Spicer, OF, 2027, Harrison
The track record for Spicer grows further with another impressive showing with present tools across the board. Lean, athletic 5-foot-9, 149-pounds with twitch throughout and strength to project. Opened the day by running a 6.87 60-yd with present foot speed and can reach the top end quickly. Posted a max 93.5 exit velocity during batting practice and would follow it up with a hard-hit pull-side single in-game. Syncs up the leg-lift load in a quick trigger and positive move forward with loose hands in a direct path. Whippy barrel for coverage across all parts of the zone and bat-to-ball stands out. Hitterish traits throughout and can fit anywhere in the lineup with a strong hit/speed combo. Versatile defender with excellent instincts and athleticism that will carry long-term while profiling across the grass long-term. Spicer boasts a table-setting profile with a long history of in-game production and certainly raised his value with this showing. 

Myles Young, OF/3B, 2027, Campbell
The first showcase setting for Young and it was nothing short of an outstanding all-around showing. Strength and athleticism stand out in the muscled-up 5-foot-11, 214-pound frame. Ran a 7.04 60-yd and followed it with an eye-opening round of batting practice. Found consistent barrels from both sides of the plate & posted a max exit velocity of 97.2 to show for it. Quiet actions with a simple trigger and ability to repeat well from both sides. Head stays steady through impact with strong hands/wrists in a compact path to contact. Flat path with feel to match plane with heaviness to the barrel backed by plus bat speed (Max 89.6, event best). Defensively, Young boasts present foot speed and budding arm strength to profile at either corner outfield spot with some flexibility to either corner infield position as well. One of the top remaining power bats in the state paired with athleticism which only strengthens the profile and a massive senior season appears to be in store as Young. 

Andrew Snow, OF/LHP, 2027, Mary Persons
The Mary Persons two-way has been on an upward trajectory since the start of the year with another strong showing amongst his peers. Athleticism litters the frame with sneaky strength in the compact 5-foot-9, 180-pound frame while showing present above-average tools across the board. Kicked off the day by running a 6.84 60-yd backed by a quality first step and ability to reach top end speed quickly. Carried it over with a loud round of batting practice as he posted a max exit velocity of 99.4 paired with a max distance of 372ft. while showing carry to the pull-side. Hands work really well through the zone in a well-leveraged left-handed cut with lag in-zone and innate barrel feel to match. Bat-to-ball skills are present with ability to adjust in-zone and zone recognition to spray the ball to all parts of the field. Chance to profile in CF long-term with the type of gamer mindset and instincts to put his body on the line at all times. On the mound, Snow showed off the pitchability in yet another quality outing this campaign. Operates in the low 80s while mixing both a slider and changeup off it with confidence in all 3 during any count. Attacks all quadrants to keep batters guessing and off-balance while hiding the ball well in the arm action. Snow is one of those players you simply bet on that is armed with a gritty, gamer mentality and competitiveness with tools to be an excellent asset to a recruiting class across multiple levels. 

Savion Daniel, 2B/OF, 2027, Georgia Premier Academy
Quick twitch athleticism stands out from the 5-foot-9, 140-pound frame. Defensively, Daniel gets good reads and jumps in the OF grass, while delivering throws accurately in the mid 80s (Max 86). 6.92 speed allows Daniel to beat the ball to the spot and put himself in advantageous positions to work through both ground and fly balls. On the IF dirt, Daniel’s athleticism continues to shine, showcasing plenty of range to both sides. Offensively, the simplicity of the whole field approach stood out. Daniel creates good separation in the upper half while maintaining strength and balance in the lower half. On the basepaths, Daniel’s speed rushes defenders and poses as a base stealing threat at any time. Really high upside, top of the lineup UTL player who will only continue to develop throughout what looks to be a must follow senior year.
