EMERSON, GA - The 2026 Georgia Senior Games  were held September 5th at LakePoint Sports Complex, bringing together over 175 of the top uncommitted prospects in the 2027 class from across the state. Over 20 + college coaches were in attendance to see these players as the Fall circuit kicks off with the spring season on the horizon. 

Today, we take a closer look at some of the top performers from the pitching group. ⤵️

Quick Hits: Pitchers

Palmer Beverly, RHP, 2027, Central
Uncommitted. Beverly was impressive throughout a scoreless couple innings of work. He filled up the zone with a three-pitch mix while disrupting timing with his delivery. Beverly had a clear plan for every batter and wasn’t afraid to throw any pitch in any count and showed poise while doing so. Beverly’s arsenal consists of a FB, CB, and SL tunneling each very well making it hard for batters to pick up out of the hand. The FB sits 81-82, topping 83, the CB sits at 70, and the SL sits 70-72, topping out at 74 with a max spin rate of 2,469 RPM. He showed a strong feel for the breaking stuff in a clean outing with strong CMD for the FB. Beverly’s motion is fluid and moves downhill really well with a clean arm swing and adv. arm speed leads to a full repeatable delivery. He has mature composure and is looking to have a big spring at Central High. 

Warren Hilley, RHP, 2027, East Jackson
Uncommitted. Hilley toed the slab and came out filling up the zone with a 3-pitch repertoire in two clean innings. He kept hitters off-balance with K’s and weak contact. Hilley’s FB sits 79-83, topping out at 84 with max 1,997 RPM, SL sits 71-72, topping out at 73, and the CH sits 73-76. He has good CMD with each pitch in any count and has heavy ASR on the SNK. Hilley’s arsenal is FB heavy and he can break the SL or CH off of it to get weak GB’s or S/M. The delivery is smooth downhill with present arm speed and throws from a higher ¾ slot. There is projection in the 6-foot-2, 168-pound build with more velo on the way throughout the fall/spring. Hilley had a good showing at the SG and is a big name to keep eyes on this spring at East Jackson. 

Warren Hawkesworth, RHP, 2027, Central
Uncommitted. Hawkesworth opened up eyes at the Senior Games once he threw his first pitch due to his outlandish delivery out of a submarine slot. While many players try to replicate their favorite players, Hawkesworth uses his strength to his advantage generating uncomfortable AB’s to both sides of the plate but especially RHH. He made a statement in his outing with P2C stuff. Hawkesworth throws a FB 71-74, SL 64-65, and a CH 67-69 with deception across all offerings. The submarine slot in his delivery brings illusive rise against the batter creating an even tougher look and giving them something else to think about. He had a good feel for the SL on the corners of the plate with FB CMD up ITZ. He gets down the mound well with the lengthy 6-foot-3, 175-pound frame with projection throughout. Many teams will be looking at this talented arm as a weapon at the next level. 

Jensen Kown, RHP, 2027, Walker
Another standout showing from Kown in the showcase setting as he opened the fall on a high note this past weekend. Physical, broad-shouldered 6-foot-1, 190-pounds with pitch ability and projection remaining. Clean, repeatable arm action with present arm speed and body control that points to velocity gains down the line. Repeats really well with an innate feel to spin that allows the arsenal to play up. Cut action fastball with command throughout the zone and lived 84-86 (T87 MPH) while generating in-zone misses. Two distinct breaking-balls with feel to spin a sharp slider with late bite at 74-77 (2700 +) for whiffs both in and out of the zone. 12/6 curveball with huge depth at 72-76 (2700 +) and creates another shape that proves difficult for hitters to pick up as it generates multiple freezes. Changeup rounds out the arsenal at 76-78 with tumble and used to left-handed hitters. Kown looks every bit of a frontline starter type in college across a multitude of different levels and a huge spring campaign as the ace of the Walker staff is looming. 

Ashton Arno, RHP, 2027, Perry
Arno would show off the arm talent in a quality look at a breakout showing at Senior Games. Physical, high-waisted 6-foot-4, 200-pounds with projection throughout. Creates huge extension downhill with body control and ability to repeat the delivery. Arm speed and strength is present from a higher three-quarter slot. Scattered at times but missed barrels throughout with no hard-hit contact and got outs when needed. Max fastball velocity across the event at 89.2 and lived 86-88 with cut action and feel to command the outer half well. Slider tunneled effectively off the fastball with tight action (2500 +) at 79-81. Would also mix in a quality changeup to left-handed hitters at 80-83. It was the type of performance that should propel Arno to sustain a good bit of interest across multiple levels and the path to a breakout spring is well under way. 

Cash Fenhagen, RHP, 2027, Midtown
The last time we had seen Fenhagen was back during the preseason of ‘25, and was unfortunately dealing with injury during this spring. The strides on the mound have been noticeable as he showed really well in a quick, efficient two innings of work. Durable 6-foot-0, 194-pounds with a stout lower half and moves well downhill while repeating the delivery well. Present arm speed from a near over-the-top slot and pounded the zone for strike while keeping batters off-balance with the fastball/curveball mix. Fastball mixes shapes well with both arm-side run and some ride through the zone at 84-86. Shorter action curveball induced freezes at 75-76. Sparingly mixed in a changeup with tumble at 78-80. It’s a well-rounded, strike-throwing profile with pitch ability that should continue to tick up and Fenhagen looks to be in line for massive innings during the spring. 

Logan Corney, RHP, 2027, North Gwinnett
Corney put together the more bullying outings on field 16 Saturday, notching 4 K and heavy swing-and-miss across his two innings of work. Primarily working out of the stretch, the RHP utilizes a methodical delivery with present arm speed in a compact stroke. Fastball works in the low-80s with deceptive bore for the velocity and gets on top of hitters quickly. Slider looks like a budding putaway pitch for Corney with advanced feel in the low-70s, showing ability to add and subtract sweep at will while generating whiffs both in and out of the zone. Makings of kick change shown as well for the uncommitted senior with ability to kill velocity and spin alike (Avg 933 RPM) while commanding the lower half of the zone. Big senior class moving on from North Gwinnett from a year ago and Corney could have a path to quality innings in what will be a pivotal spring. 

Brody Miller, RHP, 2027, North Gwinnett
Dominant outing from the projectable 6-foot-2, 175-pound RHP. Miller showed an advanced feel to spin the SL, reaching up to 2300 rpm and almost 14” of horizontal movement. Miller also showed an advanced feel to command each offering, generating in-zone whiffs and weak contact. The FB sat 84-86, T87.5, getting almost 20” of IVB. The changeup showed good tumble and sat around 77-79 with ~1400 rpm. The SL had very good shape and sat 69-72, generating plenty of chase and whiff. Following a strong summer, Miller looks poised for a strong must-follow spring campaign with North Gwinnett. 

Chanum Pierce, RHP, 2027, Locust Grove
Quality showing from the 5-foot-10, 150-pound RHP. Pierce moves well mechanically and really sinks into his back leg during the delivery to create an untraditional 4.6 average release height, while delivering from an almost OTT slot. Pierce oozes confidence on the mound and attacks early and often with the FB, sitting 82-84, while running multiple up to 85. The SL was used sparingly but was still able to miss barrels and generate some weak contact, getting almost 14” of horizontal movement. Overall, very intriguing look, with room still left to fill the frame. Pierce looks to be an exciting follow out of Locust Grove. 

Lucas Clark, RHP, 2027, Woodward Academy
Impressive outing from the ultra-projectable 6-foot-4, 175-pound RHP. Clark showed a clearly advanced feel to spin, with the FB and CB both north of 2400 rpm. Showed some manipulability with the CB, flashing some with more vertical movement and some with more horizontal movement. Clark also threw one CH at 78 mph with 1200 rpm that showed good late tumble. Overall, lots to like in the profile, with more to project as the frame continues to fill out. Clark should be poised for a big spring at Woodward Academy.
