Connor Bruce Uncommitted Spotlight

Connor Bruce has waited his turn at Loganville high school, sitting behind some good arms, on some really good teams. In 2019 Bruce looks ready to emerge from the shadows and become a front-line guy for the Red Devils. The big fella passes the eye test, checking in at around 6-foot-6-inches with long arms and broad shoulders. His delivery and arm work well together, and though his velocity has not climbed up into the big numbers just yet, his fastball gets on top of hitters due to his good extension to the plate. Bruce appears to be a strike thrower attacking the zone with his fastball. He also shows feel to spin the ball with tight rotation. Like his fastball, his curveball also shows projectable qualities, both in terms of shape and velocity. This is an athletic projectable package, that has a chance to start to climb in 2019 and beyond.
