Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 165-pounds. The hit tool was on display for the second week in a row at GDC as one of the high risers in the ‘27 class continues to hit the ball with authority. Another pair of multi-hit games that drove in runs, showing the power to all parts of the field, and also athletic behind the plate. His stance in the box is balanced and slightly bent at the knees with a slide-step or toe-tap load that focuses on the hands getting the barrel to the ball. Shows an advanced feel at the plate with low 90 and upper 80 exit velocities, blistering baseballs into gaps. Mature and disciplined eye as well, isn’t afraid to foul balls off in order to get a pitch he wants with two-strikes. Very patient and can attack at any moment. Exciting player to watch as the season continues. N2K.
