TCU commit showed well at the plate and at 3B over the weekend. Showed a really strong frame with an athletic stance in the box. Had quick hands and trusted the approach in the box. Higher upside prospect on the mound.

Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 6-2, 195-pounds.
Defense: INF - 92 mph. Fields out front, works through ball well, well above avg. arm that plays well from left side of infield.
Hit: Square stance with body  load, above avg. pop to gaps, stays compact and is short to contact.
Power: 95 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Run: 7.44 runner in the 60. 

Delivery: Athletic delivery, explosive movements, works inline to catcher.
Arm Action: slight stab down, extremely quick out front.
FB: T91, 90-91 mph. Good control of zone with quality downhill plane.
CB: 74-77 mph. Sharp 12/6 break with relatively consistent shape.
CH: 79-81 mph. Flat plane with running action away from LHH.

Athletic, projectable 6-foot-2, 195-pounds. TCU commit. The wide-shouldered right-handed pitcher delivers from a balance tempo, working over the top with aggressiveness and strength in his lower half. Extension out front with long, clean high-¾ arm action featuring some shoulder tilt and solid arm speed. Fastball sat 91-92 mph, topping at 93 mph, on a downward plane through the zone with riding life. Fastball averaged spin of 2242 rpm. Sharp 12/6 hammer breaking ball with solid depth and feel at 76-77 mph, spinning at 2112 rpm. Changeup featured varying action with feel around the zone, 84-86 mph.

CB: 70-72 mph. Hammer breaking ball with sharp 12/6 action at plate with above avg. depth.
CH: 73-76 mph. Slight cutting action with solid/avg. Feel for zone. 

Hit: RHH. Square stance, easy load and stride, consistently squares baseball, shows pop in bat to middle of field. 
Power: 86 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 86 mph.
Defense: Softer hands, shows actions in field, above avg. arm with carry across diamond.
Run: 7.56 runner in the 60.

6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. On mound; shows rhythm and tempo to delivery, builds momentum and delivers from high ¾ slot with quickness out front. Fastball was 83-85 mph with flashes of life through zone. Avg. shape and break on curveball with 11/5 shape. Above avg. feel for changeup; thrown at fastball arm speed with fade and sink in bottom of zone. 4.96 home to first time. Square stance, uphill path, looks to elevate baseball, mid/pull approach, some extra movements through load and swing, occasional pop in bat, 83 mph exit velocity. Works around and through baseball, avg. tempo and quickness, sure hands, has sound overall actions, above avg. arm with carry and accuracy to bag, 83 mph arm strength across infield.

6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. On mound; quicker tempo to delivery, medium balance point, lands inline to catcher with good extension out front. The arm is athletic with above avg. action on pitches. Fastball was 82-84 mph with hard late arm-side running action. Solid spin and shape on 11/5 curveball with average depth. Mirrors fastball arm action and speed well on changeup; above avg. action and feel for bottom of zone. 7.80 runner. Heavy body load, has rhythm in hands, steep path through contact, works out over front leg to contact, shows ability to drive ball to oppo gap, aggressive swinger with solid bat speed, 77 mph exit velocity. Athletic in field with good actions, fields out front, works low to ground, adequate range, above avg. arm with accuracy and carry for age, 80 mph arm strength across infield.
