Q&A With Uncommitted 2015: Conner Klostermann (Dyersville Beckman)

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
KLOSTERMANN: I have received interest from Northwest Missouri State, Iowa Central CC, Ottawa University, Southeastern CC, Southwestern CC, Kansas City Kansas Community College, Wartburg, Clarke University, Upper Iowa, Loras, U. Dubuque, Northwestern College, Central College, Coe College, Knox College and Radford University.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
KLOSTERMANN: I have visited NW Missouri St., Iowa Central and Southeastern CC. I plan on visiting all the schools of interest in the near future.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
KLOSTERMANN: I'm looking for a school that has a good reputation in the degree I'm pursuing, as well as a strong baseball tradition.

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
KLOSTERMANN: My team finished as Iowa Class 2A State Runner-Up. I was awarded IHSAA 1^st Team All-State, INA 1^st Team All-State, 1^st Team All Northeast District and 1^st Team WaMac All-Conference.

PBR: What are your goals for this year?
KLOSTERMANN: Our goal at Beckman is the same every year; to win a state title. Our guys put in a tremendous amount of effort in the offseason, and Coach Jenk does a fantastic job of grooming our young athletes. Our job as a team is to continue the tradition that previous Blazers have laid down for us.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
KLOSTERMANN: I play Football and also participate in Track.

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
KLOSTERMANN: I have a 22 on the ACT and my current GPA is 3.66.
