Sudden Impact: One & Done JUCO Transfers

Last week we took a look at several Sudden Impact Pitchers and Sudden Impact Hitters. All of them were typical JC transfers who spent their sophomore season in the JUCO ranks before moving onto (or back to) a four-year program. Today, we turn our attention to a half dozen transfers who spent only their freshman season in junior college before impacting a four-year program as a second year collegian this spring.

 

Chad Dallas, RHP, Tennessee- A transfer from Panola JC, TX, Dallas is fearless strike-thrower on the bump with a repeatable delivery. Durable bodied at 5-foot-11, 205 pounds, he features a 89-94 mph fastball and a breaking ball that is lights out when it's on. He finished the 2020 season 3-0, 2.53 ERA, 21.1 IP, 19 H, 6 BB, 21 SO, .235 OPPAVG in his first year in a Volunteer uniform.
