PBR Iowa strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

SCHARES: Iowa Central CC, Coe College, Northwestern, Mount Mercy, Luther, Southeastern CC and Robert Morris University.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
SCHARES: I’ve visited Northwestern, Iowa Central CC, and plan on visiting Mount Mercy soon.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?
SCHARES: A good criminal justice program, and big family aspect. Somewhere where I can grow not only as a baseball player but as a young adult

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
SCHARES: My high school beat the number 4 team to qualify for the state tournament and I had a huge 2 run double in that game. My team took Lisbon and undefeated 2 seed through 6 1/3 inn until they scored 2 to beat us; I also had a huge double to the wall that game for an RBI.

PBR: What are your goals for this year?
SCHARES: Make it to state again, get signed to go to the right college for me. Hit over .400 and help my team in all ways possible.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
SCHARES: Football, wrestling, and track.

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
SCHARES: I recently took the ACT and have a 2.8 GPA.
