SHELBYVILLE--- Shelbyville and Columbus North got together Thursday night and despite outhitting the Golden Bears the No. 15 ranked Bulldogs lost the game 7-4.

The home team picked up the impressive win over the 4A ranked Bulldogs following a strong performance on the mound by Ethan Larrison and at the plate by Chase McCully. Larrison went 4 1/3 innings striking out five and allowing three earned runs.  McCully ended his night going 2-4 with a homerun and 3 RBI.  

Larrison also made his presence felt at the plate adding a double and two RBI. Senior Daniel Kuhn reached base all four times with two walks and a double scoring three runs.

For Columbus North, Junior Devin Mann, ranked No. 7 in the 2015 class and committed to Louisville, and Sophomore Brice McDaniel, ranked No. 8 in the 2016 class, each had big hits. McDaniel was 3-4 with a double, while Mann bounced one off the left-center wall for a double and an RBI.
