Scouting Report

12/14/19: The overall top prospect at the event was 2020 SS Keenan Taylor (Guerin Catholic HS). The Butler recruit has added at least ten pounds of muscle since the last time we saw him, and his strength has made a difference in all facets of his game. He started off the event by running a 7.07 in the 60-yard dash, taking off almost of a full tenth from his previous best time of 7.16 last February. He showcased above average arm strength in both the infield & outfield (88 mph) with carry on his throws. The biggest difference his added strength has made was offensively. Taylor recorded a high exit velocity off the tee at 103 mph, and that power translated to his BP session where he showed elite barrel control with loud contact and gap-to-gap power.
