As we combed through stats for games played last week, one player stood out and has earned PBR Kentucky Player of the Week honors for games played April 26-May 1.

Marshall University commit Brady Baxter had a stellar performance foe the No. 2 ranked Danville Admirals last week. The junior RHP/IF did it both at the plate and on the mound in five Danville wins.

At the plate. Baxter went 9-for-16 with a double, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs, and scored 7 runs.

As if that weren't enough, Baxter also notched a win on the mound while working 5 innings of of one run baseball allowing just 2 hits while recording 9 strikeouts.

For the season, Baxter is hitting .469 with 7 doubles, 8 home runs, and 33 RBI. He has also compiled a 4-0 record on the mound with a 1.75 ERA. In 16 innings of work, Baxter has allowed just 3 walks while racking up 24 strikeouts.

For his outstanding performance on the field, Brady Baxter has been selected the PBR Kentucky Player of the Week for April 26-May 1.
