Ethan Smock attended our Underclass Games event last summer at UK as a rising sophomore, and while there was some element of rawness to him, especially with his curveball, he definitely acquitted himself as a lefty to follow closely in the 2018 class. It appears Smock has ramped it up a notch this spring for Logan County.

On April 9, Smock fired a complete game, no hitter in a 5-0 victory over a solid Christian County squad. In the seven innings of work, he allowed just one walk while racking up 13 strikeouts in the dominant effort. That win stopped a two game slide for the Cougars as they now stand at 11-4 on the season.

For his outstanding performance on the field, Logan County 2018 LHP Ethan Smock has been selected the PBR Kentucky Pitcher of the Week for April 4-9.
