Scouting Report

Intriguing, athletic two-way prospect. 5-foot-10, 160 pound right-handed hitter. Balanced stance. Uses a leg kick trigger in load with a mid-length stride. Produced consistent line drive contact with flashes of pull side power. Put up some impressive bat speed numbers via blast. 85.7 max bat speed (best of event), and 72.73 average bat speed (second at event). Works though the baseball defensively and shows good lateral movement. Soft hands. Has the arm strength to stay at SS at 84 mph across the diamond. Ran 7.20 laser-timed 60 yard dash.

On the mound, uses long arm action that works through a high-3/4 slot. Showed effective fastball/curveball mix. Max fastball velocity at 82.53 mph with a range of 79-82, mostly straight (max 2158 rpm), shows feel for 65-68 mph curveball with 11/5 shape and max spin rate of 2164 rpm. Shows an ability to work both sides of the plate effectively.
