Kentucky Hitter of The Week

This weekly award will be announced each Tuesday for the previous week’s games.

Week seven of the Kentucky high school season was action-packed from beginning to end and led to a lot of worthy candidates for our Hitter of The Week Award, but as we combed through the submissions, one player stood out in having one of the best weeks we have seen thus far this year.

Jashon Lewis, a 2025 OF from Harrison County HS, put on an offensive display in leading the Thorobreds to a 4-0 record last week. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound, left-handed hitter went 9-for-13 with 4 doubles, 4 home runs, and 13 RBI in earning this week’s honor.

The athletic, 6.77 runner has been producing all season, hitting .424 with 6 doubles, 4 triples, 5 home runs and 24 RBI.

For his outstanding performance on the field, Jashon Lewis has been named the Prep Baseball Kentucky Hitter of The Week for April 21-27..
