On Saturday, August 20, prospects from across the state of Louisiana participated in the Prep Baseball Report North Louisiana Open at Centenary College in Shreveport, LA.

Today, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana takes a look at the outfielders that were in attendance.

Outfielders

+ Keegan Crain, OF, West Ouachita HS(2017)
A 5-foot-11, 170-pound outfielder with a medium, strong frame. Quality athlete that posted a 7.1 60 yard dash. Solid defender with average hands, solid footwork and clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 75 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced setup, short stride, smooth load and solid lower half. Line-drive type hitter with some rhythm, simple, flat path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 83 mph.

+ Josh Gann, OF, Grace Christian HS(2017)
A 5-foot-7, 140-pound outfielder with a medium, athletic frame. Solid defender with average hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange and plays through balls well. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 79 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from athletic setup, slight bar in load, short stride and solid balance. Line-drive type hitter with stiff rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 76 mph. Also posted a 7.26 60 yard dash.

+ John Henry Hebert, OF, Neville HS(2017)
A 6-foot, 170-pound outfielder with a lean, athletic frame. Left-handed hitter that hits from tall, athletic setup, smooth load, leg kick and solid balance. Gap to gap, power type hitter, slightly uphill path with strength at contact and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 90 mph. Solid defender with soft hands, fluid footwork and athletic actions. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy on throws and a positional velocity of 79 mph. Also posted a 7.00 60 yard dash.

+ Austin Murphy, OF, Ouachita HS(2018)
A 6-foot, 175-pound outfielder with an average, athletic frame. Solid defender with average hands, solid footwork and solid athletic actions. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 75 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, short stride and quality balance. Line-drive type hitter with fluid rhythm, simple, flat path with bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 76 mph. Also posted a 7.43 60 yard dash.

+ Anthony Stallcup, OF, Captain Shreve HS(2018)
A 5-foot-6, 175-pound outfielder with a medium, strong frame. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced setup, smooth load, leg lift and slightly off balance. Line-drive, gap to gap type hitter with solid rhythm, level to slightly uphill path, strength at contact and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 86 mph. Solid defender with soft hands, fluid footwork and clean exchanges. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 82 mph. Also posted a 7.30 60 yard dash.

+ Bryce Ware, OF, Junction City HS(2019)
A 5-foot-7, 130-pound outfielder with a lean, athletic frame. Solid defender with average hands, solid footwork, and clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 77 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, short stride and solid balance. Line-drive type hitter with loose rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 79 mph. Also posted a 7.54 60 yard dash.

+ Skyler Whetstone, OF, Ouachita HS(2018)
A 5-foot-10, 140-pound outfielder with an athletic, lean frame. Solid defender with average hands, fluid footwork, and clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 68 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, short stride and solid balance. Line-drive type hitter with some rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 69 mph. Also posted a 7.35 60 yard dash.

+ Tanner Wiegand, OF, Rosepine HS(2017)
A 5-foot-10, 165-pound outfielder with a strong, athletic frame. Outstanding athlete that posted a 6.6 60 yard dash. Outstanding defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges and instincts. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 85 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, short stride, solid balance, and simple overall pass. Line-drive type hitter with some rhythm, level path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 79 mph.
