PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
Batty: Louisiana Tech, Southeastern Louisiana, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Stanford, LSU & Ole Miss
PBR: Have you developed a relationship with any specific coaches?
Batty: Coach Goff at Louisiana Tech
PBR: Have you taken any unofficial visits? If so, please describe each visit.
Batty: Southeastern Louisiana invited me to tour their campus and facilities on their junior day this past fall.
I had an unofficial visit at Louisiana Tech while my team played in West Monroe in March. They invited me to watch them play then after the game, Coach Goff showed me around and talked to me. Loved the coaches and liked the facilities. Definitely would be an awesome place to play.
I played at Ole Miss this fall with Coach Raley and did not have one of my better outings but our whole team was given a tour of the locker room and facilities after our game. Coach Lafferty pulled me off to the side before the tour was done and talked to me.
The fall before my freshman season I went to a showcase at LSU and after it was over Coach Sanchez talked to me and said they really liked me and were going to keep up with me. After the showcase was over Coach Davis and Coach Sanchez showed me around their facilities.
PBR: Do you have any visits scheduled?
Batty: None yet
PBR: Do you have any offers at this stage?
Batty: None at this time
PBR: Do you have a timeline for your recruitment?
Batty: Not currently
PBR: Do you have a favorite at this stage?
Batty: I would be more than happy if I had the chance to play ball for any school at the D1 level but as of now my favorites are Ole Miss and LSU
PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT/PSAT?
Batty: 4.0 have not taken ACT or PSAT yet
PBR: What showcases or events have been most meaningful to your recruitment thus far?
Batty: The Marucci showcases I attended as a freshman and this past January I believe put me on the map. Also when I have been able to play in tournaments at specific schools like I did at Ole Miss and LSU have been the most meaningful to me.
