Senior Games Statistical Analysis

The annual Senior Games took place on Saturday, September 19th at LSU Eunice in Eunice, LA. The invite only event hosted 30+ uncommitted senior prospects from across the state of Louisiana.
We begin our instant analysis from Saturday's event with a look at some top statistical performers. We measured six separate categories and we’ll detail the leaders in each category below.
Saturday’s event saw 7 players turned in sub-7.20 times. Jack Parks (Cedar Creek, 2021) turned in an event best 60-yard dash, posting a time of 6.90-second. Garrett Beadle (Zachary, 2021) and Carter Griffin (Haughton, 2021) were the other two players to finish under 7.05-seconds, with times of 7.00-seconds, and 7.02-seconds, respectively.
On the mound, the Senior Games saw 6 players flash a max velocity of 80 mph or better. Leading the way was Solomon Riley (Dunham, 2021) posting an 86 mph max velocity on Saturday. Trip Flotte (Central Private, 2021) and Jack Parks (Cedar Creek, 2021) also had quality outings on the mound, working up to 83 mph and 82 mph respectively.
Saturday’s event also saw 9 players post an exit velocity of 90 or better including Jack Parks (Cedar Creek, 2021) who led the way with a 96 mph exit velocity on TrackMan, while also flashing power potential during batting practice. Gabe Patterson (Central, 2021) was second on the exit velocity leaderboard with an exit velo of 95 mph and Carter Griffin (Haughton, 2021) rounded out the top 3 at 94 mph.
Brennan Duhe (Lutcher, 2021) led the way on the infield positional velocity leaderboard checking in with an event best 86 mph. Duhe was followed up by Devyn Zenon (West Gate, 2021) who posted a positional velocity of 82 mph.
Rett Bowman (South Beauregard, 2021) topped the leaderboard with an event best 84 mph outfield velocity. Carter Griffin (Haughton, 2021) was second on the outfield velocity leaderboard.
Garrett Beadle (Zachary, 2021) also showed off his arm strength behind the dish, posting an event best 76 mph catcher velocity. While Dakota Blackwell (Ouachita Parish, 2021) and Jamari Valery tied in the number 2 spot with identical 74 mph catcher velocities.
Beadle, Blackwell and Valery also topped the leaderboard for top pop times. Beadle and Blackwell posted the event low pop time of 1.93-seconds. While Valery and Cody Wooley (Ouachita Parish, 2021) followed them up with 2.00-second times.
