Player Name:  Spencer McNamee
Primary Position:  3B/RHP
High School:  2019
Grad Year:  St. James

Scouting Report:  Spencer has an athletic frame with growing left to do at 5-foot-7 145-pounds. At the Western Maryland Prospect ID in June he displayed a short arm action from a high ¾ arm angle. His throws had some carry on them at 77 mph. For a young player, he showed fluid footwork and quick and clean exchange. Has clean hands at third base, with nice exchange.  Hits from an athletic set up with a short stride. Average bat speed and at this point and is more ready from the right side than left but should continue to get better as he matures and gets stronger. Very nice foundation in the athlete and an interesting player to follow. His best exit velocity was 79 mph and he ran a 7.16 60 yard dash. On the mound throws from a ¾ arm angle with above average arm speed and pitches at 74 mph. Breaking ball has gradual movement with 11/5 action and near fastball arm speed at 68 mph.  Changeup has run and sink at 67 mph
