Scouting Report

Mid-Atlantic Challenge - 11/4/2018

Projectable frame with some length at 5-foot-9, 145-pounds. Hits from an athletic, slightly open set up. Short quick load to hitting position. Light leg kick and shows some balance at the plate. Short swing path with some uphill finish through contact. Quick hands with average bat speed. Exit Velocity of 81 mph. Clean actions in the outfield with a loose arm action. Shows nice arm speed and accurate throws from the outfield. Position velocity of 85 mph. ---- On the mound, has a compact, controlled, buildup style delivery. Average leg kick with nice tempo throughout. Slight pause at hand separation with a sound action to follow. Gets nice backside involvement through release. Could get some more drive to foot strike. . Fastball shows slight sink on the pitch up to 81 mp on the day. Breaking ball has shorter 11/5 action on the pitch and shows some potential at 73 mph. Change showed slight fade. Hass room to grow as he adds strength to frame.

MD Underclass Prospect Games 6.21.17

Compact athletic frame at 5-foot-7, 130-pounds. Hits from an athletic, slightly open set up with high hands. Weight slightly stacekd back with short leg kick. Lowers hands in load with a short, level swing path with average bat speed. Could get more consistent balance in swing to get more pop from lower half. 80 mph exit velocity.  Active feet in the outfield and works thru the ball well. Clean exchange throwing from a high three quarter slot. throws have some carry on them and are accurate at 80 mph. Interesting prospect to keep an eye on as he adds strength to his frame.

1.21.17 - Projectable frame with some long limbs and room for more at 5-foot-7, 125-pounds. Simple delivery with good tempo. Long arm action and creates a quick arm speed through release. Throws from a ¾ to low ¾ arm angle and ball comes out well. FB up to 76 mph and ranged 74-75 with run action. Breaking ball ranged from 60-62 with short action and 10/4 shape. Change was 62-64 with slight sink on the pitch..........Ran a 4.47 home to first. Hits from a slightly open, taller set up with high hands. Lowers hands in rock back load and arm bar. Level path through the zone and average bat speed. Should get quicker as he gets stronger. Exit velocity of 71 mph. Clean actions and good hands in the outfield. Works through ball well and gains momentum out. Loose and quick arm action that looks like should continue to get stronger. Outfield velocity of 76.
