Scouting Report

3/11/20

Strong, athletic body type with some length. Came in relief in the game against Gilman working two innings surrendering two runs on two hits, one walk, and struck out two. Fastball sat 82-84 mph with some cut action and breaking ball showed big 11/5 shape and sharp break. Starts from a closed stretch position creating rhythm by rocking slightly back and forth. Controlled leg kick into a compact balance point. Throws with shorter arm action from a mid to high three-quarter slot. Gets down hard off the rubber in delivery with an athletic, complete finish over his front side.

1/15/18

Freshman Free Showcase

Projectable strong frame at 6-foot-1, 205-pounds. At the plats its an athletic set p with high hands at shoulder level and weight stacked slightly back. A short stride forward while keeping balance to hitting position. Shorter path at the plat with free hands and whip through extension. Power potential in the swing. Keeps nice balance. Sound actions defensively, clean around the bag. 60-time gets lower shows potential as an outfielder. Arm strength was present interesting pitching prospect to also monitor. One of top performers at the event.
