Preseason All-State Session I

Positional Profile:
 SS/2B 
Body: 5’10”, 175 pounds. Strong, athletic frame. 
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance. Creates good hand separation with controlled, short stride. Stays short to the ball, using some lower half involvement with a slight uphill swing path. Showed quick hands and fast bat speed through the zone. Stays behind the ball, maintaining solid balance. Gets good extension through contact with a strong one handed finish. Really nice gap-to-gap line drive approach during BP, squaring up several balls throughout.    
Power: 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. Power to the gaps and alleys with more developing. 
Arm: RH, INF - 72 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a mid three quarter slot. 
Defense: Surrounds the ball and works through it fielding it out in front from an athletic base. Showed quick feet and clean actions with quick exchanges. Showed range and soft hands with ability to use various arm slots depending on the play. Clean, athletic double play exchange and feed to second base.  
Run: 4.89 home-to-first time.
