2016 Spring Team Preview: Rochester Falcons

Team Name: Rochester Falcons
Head Coach: Eric Magiera 100-100-6
Division: I
2015 Record: 23-14
Conference Record: Oakland Activities Association Red, 7-8, 4th
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/3

Coach Outlook:

"We expect to have a strong year. We have had back-to-back 20 win seasons, and we return a lot of talented, experienced players. While we only have 3 seniors, we have a large group of juniors with multiple years of varsity experience this year. Our lower classes also provide a lot of talent to round out the group. We expect to compete for a league title and a deep run in the playoffs."

2016 Team Strengths:

"Starting Pitching, Defense. While our starting pitching is young, they are very talented. Our defense is also very strong, especially up the middle."

2016 Team Weaknesses:

"We are most concerned with leadership since we only return 3 seniors, but we expect that the 3, along with the returning juniors, will do a great job for us."
