“I want a school that will develop me and get me to the next level,” the 14th-ranked 2021 in Michigan said. “I want someone who will make me become a player that gets better and gets drafted one day. I’m trying to find my fit for that.” Offers have come from Ohio State, Ball State and Toledo with Oakland, Western Michigan, Michigan State, Alabama, Virginia Tech, UNC Charlotte and Indiana among the others that have are being considered by the number one-rated uncommitted junior in the state. “Each school is different and each coach is different, bringing a different atmosphere,” Lipsey explained. “I like that each coach has a different philosophy with things.” It has the 6-1 170-pound speedster weighing out all the options. “I’ll probably wait until early summer to make my decision,” Lipsey related. “Right now I’m just enjoying the process.” The Future Games played a big role in bringing notice to Lipsey. “I did well there and that opened up some school’s eyes,” Lipsey said of the PBR event held in Georgia the first week of August. “It was a great experience playing in front of 200-some college coaches. I wasn’t nervous at all, I was excited to showcase my skills. |
