Michigan Daily Roundup: April 21st Games





Ortonville-Brandon 10-3, Holly 0-2: In the first game, Sean Martens threw a three-hit shutout for Brandon while Austin Macias, Nick Noel, and Thor Wardell each had two hits. In the second game, Jake Sutherland hit a double for Brandon.



Troy Athens 11, Auburn Hills Avondale 1: Matt Lerdahl hit a grand slam, John Van Hoef had two hits, and Grant Sweeney struck out five for Athens.

Birmingham Seaholm 2, West Bloomfield 1: Michael Levitsky only allowed one run in 5 1/3 innings and got the win for Seaholm while Sam Coury had a RBI single. Dazon Cole hit a home run and only allowed two hits in six innings for West Bloomfield.

Rochester 5, Oxford 3: Mitch Weber and Tyler Frankhouse each had two hits for Rochester.

Milford 5, Waterford Kettering 4: Sam Lee went 2-3 with a triple and Alex Butkovich struck out six in three innings for Milford while Bebe Good hit a home run for Kettering.


North Farmington 12, Birmingham Groves 1: Mike Murray had two hits for North Farmington and Malik Brown scored a run for Groves.



Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes 4-9, Goodrich 0-8: Vinnie Puma threw a shutout in the first game for Our Lady of the Lakes.



Roseville 2, Sterling Heights 1



Sterling Heights Stevenson 3, Utica Eisenhower 0: Brandon Hughes hit a double and a triple while Zach McGuire threw six innings, only allowing three-hits and striking out eight for Stevenson. Riley McCauley got the save for Stevenson.

Dakota 7, Grosse Pointe South 6 (8 innings): Zak Zabonick had four hits for Dakkota while Andrew Manduzzi had two doubles for Dakota. Brendan Schmitz got the win and struck out three for Dakota.



Utica Ford 3, Romeo 2: Jordan Luzod struck out nine in six innings for Ford and got the win.


Grosse Pointe North 11, L'Anse Creuse 0: Alex Huguenin had a home run and a double among his three hits for North while Dan Robinson had two singles and Sal Ciaravino had two hits as well. Andrew Lock threw a complete game for North and struck out four.

Anchor Bay 10, Utica 0: Ryan Murphy had three hits for Anchor Bay while David Quartuccio had two hits and Chad Gerhke had two RBIs. Brandon Vires also struck out seven and threw a two-hit shutout.

Warren Cousino 3, Lakeview 2 (8 innings): Chris Stewart hit a game winning-single while Sean Petroski chipped in two hits and got the win for Cousino. Petroski also struck out four while Stewart struck out seven in six innings.

South Lake 11, Clintondale 1

Parkway Christian 14-5, Lutheran Northwest 0-4: Riley McManus threw a no-hitter with ten strikeouts in the first game. In the second game, Ryan Stewart struck out ten and only allowed two hits. Stewart hit a home run and a double in the first game. In the first game Phil Lapinski and Todd Krolewski each had two hits for Parkway.

Clare 10, Big Rapids 3: Chris Dysinger struck out eight in five innings of relief and got the win for Clare.
