The state of Michigan is filled with high-level baseball prospects throughout each corner of the state. The 2018 class has commitments all across the United States, from Vanderbilt to Miami to Kentucky to Missouri to Nebraska and many more colleges across the U.S. When looking at the 2018 rankings, you will see plenty of Michigan colleges littered throughout all of the commitments as well.

ORCHARD LAKE - Logan Wood’s family is from Ohio. They all grew up Ohio State fans.

But that is changing - though ever slowly - after the Orchard Lake St. Mary’s left-handed pitcher committed to play for the University of Michigan.

“My family has always been Ohio State fans and my bedroom has a bunch of Ohio State vs. Michigan stuff,” Wood explained. “It’s hard wearing a Michigan shirt.”
