Brendan Pierce LHP / Traverse City West, MI / 2019

Report: 5-foot-11, 185-pound left-handed pitching prospect. Conceals the ball well on the mound bringing his knee back across his body with a leg lift before throwing out of a 3/4 arm slot. Sat 82-84 MPH on his fastball early on topping out at 85 MPH in the first inning. Worked 80-83 MPH on his fastball in final two innings, touching 84 MPH in the fifth. Showed some good arm side run with his fastball. Curveball was 69-71 MPH with 1-7 break located well down in the zone and showed a changeup at 73 MPH. Struck out 7 batters in five innings of work.
