Background: Luke Shilling the 2nd ranked prospect in the Michigan 2015 class and Illinois commitment was the talk of the Super 60 workout. He showed a long quick arm action with good leverage in a powerful lower half. Fastball was 93-95 mph with plus life. Hit the 95 mph is a PBR Super 60 record. His two offspeed pitches showed plus spin and high level out pitch ability. Curveball had tight spin with a hard late break at 75-78 mph. Changeup showed good arm-side sink at 79-82 mph. Shilling's performance will garner a big following this spring for the power arm out of Notre Dame Prep.
