Scouting Report: Kark has an athletic 6-foot, 160-pound frame. He stands upright with high hands and uses a toe tap with his rhythm. He has a downhill plane to his swing and shows good bat speed. His exit velocity was 84 mph and he ran a 4.59 home-to-1st. On the infield, he shows smooth actions with good hands and works through the ball to his target. His velocity across the diamond was 79 mph. On the mound, he throws from a high-3/4 arm slot with a long, loose arm action and an effortless delivery. His fastball sat 79-81 mph with run. His curveball showed good depth with 11/5 shape while sitting 62-66 mph. His changeup had sink at 73-75 mph. He showed a controlled tempo and good body control.

Overview: In 2016, the talented two-way prospect came onto the PBR radar and now sits at the 2nd spot in the state prospect rankings and 147th overall. The Orchard Lake St. Mary's product came to three PBR showcases and showed in each one why he is one of the top prospects in the state. Kark was a top performer at the 2016 Michigan Future Game Trials, Preseason All-State as well as the Eastern Michigan Preseason Preview. Kark committed to the Spartans in 2016. Look for the future Spartan to continue to improve, as he is only a sophomore.
