Rising Stock: 2014 RHP/INF Michael Reid (Bishop Foley HS)

This fall and offseason has been very productive time for Michael Reid.  Since the Midwest Futures Games Reid has drawn interest from numerous Division I schools in the region.  At the Midwest Futures Games, the 6-foot-4, 175-pound Reid sat 81-84 mph on the mound and performed well at one point striking out 7 of 9 hitters he faced.

Despite Reid only participating in the Midwest Futures Games as a pitcher only, he shown this offseason that he can swing the bat as well.  Reid has good pop in the bat as he can whip the barrel through the zone. Additionally, Reid also has shown a good arm across the diamond and has seen his 60 time improve to 7.06.
