2018 OUTLOOK:
We only return 3 players from a State Championship team in 2018. However, we are cooping with Groves Academy due to low numbers and hope to have a number of contributors that join us. There are a lot of unknowns about this season, but I am confident with our returning leadership that we will compete at a high level this season. Taylor is a clutch hitter with power to all fields. He has a great eye at the plate and came through in several huge occasions last year on our state title run. He's an absolute rock behind the plate with cerebral pitch calling and able to throw runners out consistently. He'll be our team leader on and off the field. TJ has been starting at second base since 8th grade. He likely will move to third base this year as he continues to grow and get stronger. He had a down season average wise, but came in clutch on several occasions and hit .556 in the state tournament and over .300 in the section tournament. He'll be relied on to pitch some innings this year as well. Steph has been starting in centerfield since 8th grade. He is a speed demon and covers a ton of ground in center with an accurate arm. He is always a threat on the base paths and able to pull for power as well as lay down bunts for hits. He will lead off for us this year. ” Head Coach Jon Ledeboer
