ROGERS ROYALS
The Royals took care of business against Buffalo.

MAHTOMEDI ZEPHYRS
The Zephyrs are 3-0 with wins over St. Thomas Academy, Two Rivers, and Tartan.

SHAKOPEE SABERS

RK // TEAM // (LAST)

10 // ROSEMOUNT IRISH (9) ?

The South Suburban rescheduled conference play in the first week of the season. We’ll see the Irish in action soon.

9 // WAYZATA TROJANS (NR) ?

Wayzata jumped out to a 3-0 start with dubs against St. Michael-Albertville, Chaska, and Buffalo. Pitcher John Skoro looked good in his debut against STMA: The NIACC commit struck out 10 in five innings while running his fastball up to 90

8 // PRIOR LAKE LAKERS (10) ?

The Lakers defeated Coon Rapids behind Future Game alumni Matthew Totten’s (Purdue commit, 2024) 12-strikeout effort.

7 // FARMINGTON TIGERS (5) ?

Farmington lost their only game played last week to Rochester Mayo on a walk-off base knock

6 // CHANHASSEN STORM (3) ?

Chanhassen went 0-2 against Eastview and Hopkins. The Storm have the deep pitching staff but bats have been quiet.

5 // ANDOVER HUSKIES (7) ?

Andover’s only game this week was a 5-4 win over a tough Maple Grove team. Illinois State commit Anthony Pardo (2024) went 2-for-4 with a home run and closed the game out on the mound for the Huskies.

4 // STILLWATER PONIES (2) ?

The Ponies came away with dubs against Forest Lake and Anoka but lost to Mounds View. Not a shabby week for the reigning AAAA state champs.

3 // EAST RIDGE RAPTORS (1) ?

After defeating Roseville and Forest Lake, East Ridge ran into a Cretin in a game that was played in hurricane-like wind conditions. The Raptors’ Alex Mezzetti put on a performance in the first week with a pair of home runs.

2 // MOUNDS VIEW MUSTANGS (6) ?

The Mustangs are 3-0, including a win against ranked Stillwater. Also, Drew Rogers hits baseballs far

1 // CRETIN-DERHAM HALL RAIDERS (4) ?

The Raiders’ offense mauled through 3 teams in their opening week including a statement game against conference rival East Ridge. They outscored their opponents 45 to 11 in those contests.
