On Saturday, March 13th, PBR Minnesota will be headed to the St. Michael Albertville Dome to host one of the biggest showcases of the year.  The PBR MN Preseason All-State is an “Invite-Only” event, exclusive to 2022 grads.  It will spotlight numerous strong arms from around the state of Minnesota.

In the past five years that this event has taken place, over 400 participants have made college commits. This year’s roster looks to add exponentially to that total once the recruitment of the 2022 class is complete.

Follow along throughout the event on both Twitter (@PBRMinnesota) and Instagram (@PBRMinnesota) as we will be updating you live with all the day's action.

Over 130 players will be in St. Michael on the 13th, representing their respective high schools in Minnesota and beyond. The Minnesota 2022 class currently has 14 players who have made college commitments, with numerous decisions forth-coming over the next 12-18 months.

This year’s roster is loaded with talent across the board. 75 players, who are currently listed in the PBR MN Top 125 rankings for the 2022 class, will be in attendance.

One of the top arms in Minnesota’s rankings will be in attendance on Saturday in #2 Austin Henry (Dell Rapids, SD).  RHP Henry, who is committed to Wichita State, was an immediate standout last February in Sioux Falls.  His frame alone is enough to get excited about and with an 91-92 mph fastball, he has landed in the Top 2.  The big righty is committed and will be very interesting to see this Saturday.

St. Louis University commit Easton Richter will be making an appearance on Saturday.  The Future Games participant had an outstanding summer and fall.  Ritcher is a two-way talent out of Rosemount High School that is currently ranked #13 in Minnesota’s 2022 class.  At 6-foot-1, 190-pounds and a lefty bat there is plenty to like.  A 6.95 runner, 83 mph arm strength and 85 mph exit velocity.  It doesn’t stop there as he will climb on the mound and show a fastball that gets into the mid 80s.  The future Billikin will be an exciting one to keep eyes on at the event.

The top uncommitted player we will get to see in St. Michael is: outfielder Easton Fritcher out of Hayfield High School a two-way player.  Fritcher, a  6-foot, 195-pound athletic frame got a chance to participate in last Summer’s Future Games.  The lefty runs a 6.78 60 yard dash, 88 mph arm strength and 87 mph exit velocity and will jump on the mound that sees a fastball sit 80-84 mph.  The top uncommitted bat will be one to watch at the event.

Another top uncommitted player is North St. Paul’s Samuel Kennedy.  A right-handed pitcher that sees a fastball sit 85-88 mph and a slider at 74-77 mph that both are at a high spin rate.  Kennedy toes the mound at 6-foot-1, 200-pounds, and a proportional build. He works with a fluid delivery into a long clean arm action and the ball jumps on hitters.  It will be intriguing to see where Kennedy will be at after the Winter who is currently ranked 18th in Minnesota’s 2022 class.

It will be an action- packed day with an enormous amount of talent consolidated in one location. See you then!
