Justin Clark, RHP, Osseo, Class of 2015

PBR:  Why did you choose Southwest Minnesota State?

CLARK: I fell in love with the school, and I really liked the coaching staff and baseball program.

PBR:  What other schools were you considering?

CLARK: I was also considering St. Scholastica, Hamline, and St. Cloud State.

PBR:  Where did they first see you? How did your relationship develop with the coaching staff?

CLARK: I am not sure where they first saw me, but they then contacted me and came to a few of my games. I developed my relationship with Coach Blanchard and Coach Bonnett after they contacted me and on my first visit to the campus.

PBR: What role do you expect to play your first year on campus?

CLARK: I am ready to fill any role that will help the team to success.

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?

CLARK: My high school and Millers coaches. They have always been there for me and have really helped with my mechanics.

PBR: What have you worked on/improved since last year?

CLARK: I am always working to improve my mechanics, and I've also been in the weight room much more than I had been in the past.

PBR: Who is the toughest player that you have faced in Minnesota?

CLARK: The toughest player I have faced is Tim Munn from Champlin Park.

PBR:  What are your thoughts on the recruiting process? Any advice for future players in your position.

CLARK: Always play hard because you don't know who is there watching. Also, start contacting coaches as early as you can.
