Positional Profile: 3B/C
Body: 6-2, 205-pounds. Big solid frame
Hit: RHH. Wide and open stance.  Leg lift and shoulder load. Flashes easy hands at times. Mid/pull with line drive and fly ball contact
Power: 92 mph exit velocity from the tee. Strength in barrel
Arm: RH. C - 78 mph. INF - 82 mph. Short arm action
Defense: 1.98-2.08 pop times. Off-set start. Good exchange and feet. Glove works low to high from one knee. Average glove and shifts on corners. IF- Average hands and makes routine play. Feet sit back and work around.
Run: 7.25 runner in the 60.

 

7/18/19

 

6-foot-2, 205-pound two-way prospect. Batted in the cleanup spot and came in relief against CBT. Sets up in an open stance in the right side of the batter’s box. Features a leg kick stride, pulls hands back into load. Showcased present bat strength, finding barrels in two of his three at bats. He ripped a line drive for a loud out to center field, followed up by a line drive over the left field wall for a two-run home run. On the mound, worked in line. Fastball sat 84-86 mph and played straight. Sharp 12/6 shape on his curveball at 73-75 mph that had depth. 

 

6/16/19

 

6-foot-2, 205-pound right-handed hitting third baseman.  7.25 runner.  Present strength.  Open stance with relaxed handset.  Strides to square with some rhythm in load.  Creates bat speed.  Mid/pull approach with line drive contact.  Consistent barrel with pop to pull side.  95 mph exit velocity.  IF- Heavy feet.  Average glove and makes routine play.  82 mph arm strength with good carry and accuracy. 

 

3/16/19

 

6-foot-2, 205-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.37 runner. Large frame, open stance, creates above avg. bat speed, pull approach, elevates ball well, loud contact with above avg. pop in bat, 95 mph exit velocity. Solid/avg. Hands, tends to field under body, moves flat footed, avg. range and tempo to field, accurate arm to base, 81 mph arm across infield. On mound; longer rocker step, pauses over rubber, lands open to plate, bow and arrow arm action. Fastball was 79-81 mph, occasionally downhill, with varying action at plate. Solid depth on 12/6 breaking ball for strikes. Solid fade and sink on changeup in bottom of zone.

 

 

9/8/18-  6-foot-2, 195-pound right-handed hitting two-way player. 7.44 runner.  Upright open stance.  Knee to knee and hand load back.  Big frame with present strength.  Middle/pull approach with solid swing plane that produces fly ball and line drive contact.  Good bat speed and solid consistent contact with pull side pop.  93 mph exit velocity.  IF- Ok glove and fields out in front.  Works around with feet to field.  Actions can be stiff at times.  85 mph arm strength with solid carry and accuracy.  On mound- Compact body with size.  Good balance and direction in delivery.  Throws from high ¾ arm slot.  Fastball is straight at 79-81 mph.  Sharp 12/6 break on curveball with good shape and spin at 71-73 mph.  Change-up has fade action thrown at 75-77 mph.

 

 

3/17/18- 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.44 runner. Open stance, leg kick trigger, rolling hand rhythm with body load, mid/pull approach, consistent solid contact, flashes pop in bat to pull side of field, 89 mph exit velocity. Active feet, works around and through ball, stiffer hands, fields routine, accurate arm to bag, 79 mph arm across infield. On mound; long rocker step into tuck and turn balance point, short cocked arm action, stiffer lower half, with avg. extension and finish. Fastball was 78-80 mph, straight, with heavy feel in bottom of zone. Small late break on curveball with 11/5 shape. Changeup is firm with flat action to plate.
